MAC haul ~ February 2018

Dear readers,

in the past I did a MAC haul every single month but as you might have noticed I haven't gone to my local MAC store in a while. The reason I'm not going that often anymore is because my local MAC store is pretty small and I own everything I want to own from MAC at this moment.

However, I did see a few new products that looked interesting. So I ended up going to the MAC store last weekend. Today I want to share what I bought because I might do some future reviews.

I was very happy with the MAC concealer I bought last year but with my very dry under eye area it started to crease and crack very fast. So I felt like I needed to try a new concealer with a different formula. That's when I saw that MAC released this concealer; the MAC studio waterweight concealer. I was very curious to try the new formula and see if it works with my problem.

MAC about this concealer:
'An ultra-fluid formula with medium-full buildable coverage and a natural finish. While it hydrates and gently diffuses the appearance of imperfections, it also helps reduce the appearance of under eye circles, dark spots and discolouration.'

The guy at the MAC store helped me find my perfect shade and I eventually went for the NW15.
Which is lighter than my previous concealer, that was a NW20. The reason that I went a shade lighter is because I only want to use this under my eyes and by going a shade lighter it will actually bring out my eyes.

I got this concealer for €13.20 (40% off because I'm a MAC pro member).

I'm also searching for a dark pink eyeshadow that doesn't have a purple undertone but also isn't neon. The guy from the MAC store picked out this one so I was like 'Let's give this baby a try!' It's the shade 'Never say never' and I just found out that it's actually a small blush and not an eyeshadow at all but I love it. It's also not entirely what I was looking for but it's definitely an addition to my make up collection.
What I like most about this product is that you can build the colour up.

MAC calls this shade: 'A deep scarlet red.'

I got this small blush for €11.10 (40% off because I'm a MAC pro member).

The last product I got from the MAC store is the Fluidline brow gelcreme. I got it in the shade 'True brunette' and it's actually a lot lighter than I would normally choose to use.

MAC about the Fluidline brow gelcreme:
'Long-wearing waterproof gel in a pot that gives precise definition to brows. Applies smoothly, sets quickly for the ultimate well-groomed brow. Fills, lengthens and shapes for subtle to dramatic looks.'

The reason I bought this product is because I'm changing up my brow game with a new routine. For the past two years I have been using the Makeup Revolution Focus & Fix brow kit (which I'm loving to death) but I wanted something new. This is one of the products in my new brow routine and before I bought this I had been playing around with the Makeup Revolution brow pomade, which is similar. I'm actually planning to do a comparison review of both products.

I got the Fluidline brow gelcreme for €11.70 (40% off because I'm a MAC pro member).

Instead of adding a swatch photo of the products I decided to share this photo because I combined all the products into one look. On the lid I'm wearing the eyeshadow. My whole eyelid and under eye area is covered in the concealer. And my brows are done with the brow product, I know you can't see them completely but you get a glimpse.

xx Julia
