Lush Haul April 2018
Dear readers,
last week I placed an order with Lush because I needed some of my regulars but I also decided to add some new additions to the mix. I thought it might be fun to go over the products I got.
I needed two new shampoos but since I got an allergic reaction to Cynthia Sylvia Stout beer shampoo the past month I decided to switch it up. Side note: Yes, I also get allergic reactions from using one shampoo for a long period of time. I used this shampoo for +3 years now and will go back after a while.
I decided to go back to my old love BIG. I used this shampoo when I was 14 till 18. That's when I switched to the Cynthia Sylvia stout shampoo.
Lush about big:

A volumising shampoo made with seaweed and sea salt. While the salt lifts the hair and adds body, it also softens the hair alongside extra virgin coconut oil and protein-rich toothed wrack seaweed. Lemon and lime allow the hair to shine as they allow the cuticles on your air to lie flat, meaning the reflect more light.

I also decided to get Daddy-O because I really loved the sample I got.

Daddy-O works to add volume and shine to your hair. It's the lemon and organic lime juice which allows the cuticles to lie flat and reflect more light, helping the hair to shine. We've created an infusion from toothed wrack seaweed and organic lemons, that cleanses and softens. Extra virgin coconut oil hydrates the hair, whilst fine sea salt gets to work by to softening and giving body to your hair. What makes this extra special is that it can revive your silver and blonde tones.

Writing this I'm kind of surprised how similar the descriptions are of these shampoos. When I use them they feel totally different. Which might also be that the BIG shampoo mostly feels like sea salt. They also don't smell that similar. The similarities does explain why I'm currently drawn to these shampoos!
I had been debating with myself if I should try a new deodorant. So when I saw that lush has a whole range of deodorants I decided to give one of them a try. I'm not really a fan of powder deodorants because of all the fall out and I'm way to messy to keep it clean. Normally I buy spray deodorant for men because it's the only thing that keeps my armpits under control. I have a lot of issues with sweating armpits because of my anxiety disorder. Even when I'm not experiencing any anxiety I still sweat a lot because of nervs.
After reading some reviews I ended up going for the T'eo deodorant bar.

I have been testing out this deodorant for the past few weeks and I have to say that I'm really happy with it so far!
I also went for my two regulars: the Tea Tree water and the Vanishing cream. These are the two face products I have been using for the past 7 years and they're my holy grail to get clear skin and to keep my clear skin.

Last and almost forgotten, because for some reason it's not included in the picture I took last week of all the products, Grease lighting.
Lately I have had a lot of acne even though my skin had been clear for a long time they started to pop back up again. So I decided to step up my skin routine by adding more lush products. Last month I added ultrabland and now I decided to try out a new product. I have heard a lot of great things about Grease lighting so I wanted experience these things for myself.

Grease lighting is a powerful combination of ingredients that will nip any breakouts in the bud without upsetting the skin around them. We use an infusion of antibacterial and antiseptic rosemary, thyme and tea tree as well as antioxidant-rich grape juice and witch hazel, which is astringent and anti-inflammatory and is said to soothe redness. This product is ideally applied when you feel a spot is about to erupt - prevention is better than cure.

And those are all the products I got from Lush. Of course I already made a new list of thinks I want to buy the next time I'm going to or order from Lush, like Eau Roma water.
