Unboxing: first NoMakeNoLife ~ February 2017

Hello Sweethearts,

on Wednesday my first NoMakeNoLife box arrived in the mail. NoMakeNoLife is a Japanese beauty box subscription and this was their first box ever released. Because of this I got a 30% discount. I was super excited to see what kind of Japanese beauty products I would get and when I saw it was actually shipped from Tokyo I got even more excited.

'What is NoMakeNoLife? NoMakeNoLife is s popular phrase heard in Japan by people who believe that makeup is essential to their lives. We want to embrace this philosophy and deliver you high quality, kawaii Japanese cosmetics that you'll want to continue using daily.'

The first product I saw in this box was this gorgeous eyeshadow. It's the 'Zawachin x Noyl' eyeshadow palette. 'Zawachin, a popular Japanese TV personality, who's made a name for herself by impersonating celebrity looks has collaborated with Noyl to create a line of eyeshadows that can ben used to make a variety of looks - from everyday to glamorous. Each palette comes with 12 beaituful colors that can be used individually or layered to create a natural gradation.'

The second product I picked out of the box is the Sakura facial bar soap. 'Sakura leaf extract is said to help with skin troubles and prevent dryness. Fill your heart with warmth and wash your daily worries away with this luxurious and fragrant soap.

The third item I spotted is the Sailor Moon false eyelashes. I don't watch Sailor Moon but when I heard these lashes would be in this box I got very excited. I never say no to fake lashes!
'Channel your inner guardian with these pretty false lashes. The lashes come with a cute storing case which can be used as a pill case or a case to store small accessories.'

The forth item goes along with the Sailor Moon lashes, it's the Dolly Wink eyelash glue.
'Made by one of Japan's most popular "gyaru" models, this is an essential item to go with your new Sailor Moon false eyelashes. Made in Japan, Dolly Wink eyelash glue will help keep your lashes in place all day. The sweatproof, waterproof and tearproof glue is made extra durable but gentle on your skin'

The fourth product is the Puchi animal hand cream. 'Bring this cute, fragranced hand cream with you, wherever you go. This hand cream will leave your hands not only moisturized but also smelling sweet. Encased in a convenient silicone carry-case, the hand cream comes in three different designs aand fragrances - soap, rose and honey.'

The fifth and last product is the Hello Kitty Sakura facial masks. I have to say one thing, I LOVE Hello Kitty!
'Pamper yourself with these Hello Kitty facial masks. This 8-pack of facial masks contains Sakura extract, tea extract and hyaluronic acid to help moisturize your skin. Masks come in reseal-able bag in order to maintain freshness.'

I got this box for $20.99 (including shipment) but they're available in different sizes for different prizes at NoMakeNoLife.

I absolutely loved getting this box and see the difference in beauty products. I'm not sure if I'm going to continue my subscription but I might order the March box if I have some money left at the end of the month.

What did you think of this box?
