Lipstick Queen ~ Medieval, Hello sailor & Frog Prince
Hello Sweethearts,
in todays article I'm going to talk about a new brand I recently discovered; Lipstick Queen. Somehow I had never heard of this brand before, or I can't recall ever reading/hearing about this brand. My sister gave the three most popular lipsticks to me for Christmas. I actually wore the colour 'Frog Prince' on new years eve.
These lipstick aren't regular lipstick but they are more like liptints. They're transparent with a hint of colour. 'Hello Sailor' and 'Frog Prince' actually change colour when applied. 'Hello Sailor' is on me pink with blue-purple undertone. 'Frog Prince' is a nice pink, no hint of green whatsoever. And 'Medieval' is just a red tint.
Lipstick Queen about these lipsticks:
Medieval:
'During medieval times, when lipstick was considered a sin, women used the natural acidity of lemons to bring forth a natural blood-red stain on their lips. This flattering look has been recreated by Poppy in this best-selling tint. Medieval is purely Vitamin E and pigment, making it silky to wear and divinely transparent. And best of all it makes your skin look flawless.'
Hello Sailor:
'Turn the blackberry lip trend on its head with this ultra-modern, navy blue sheer lipstick. In a nod to the nautical, Hello Sailor tints lips in a cool, berry tone with a hint of deep sapphire. The sheer blue pigment is suspended in a protective Vitamin E treatment that can be worn alone as a nourishing lip tint or teamed with its Berry sisters in Saint or Sinner, to add a topaz glint to your berry lips.'
Frog Prince:
'Get heads turning with Frog Prince, a remarkable emerald green lipstick that transforms into magical rosebud upon contact with the lips. Don't be fooled by the deep green hue of this semi-sheer lipstick - the green reacts with the warmth of your lips turning them an intense, fairy tale rose. No two pairs of lips will look the same as it adapts according to your pH and natural coloring, appearing entirely different yet beautifully flattering on everyone.
Vitamin E and Shea Butter keep lips soft, hydrated and deliciously kissable. And just like true love itself, this enchanting shade was made to last. Lips remain their blissful pink all day long from just one lingering, magical Frog Prince kiss.'
I love that my sister bought me these small versions of the lipsticks so I can easily carry them around everywhere I want to. I'm not sure which one is my favourite yet but I like how 'Frog Prince' looks on my lips.
