The anti-redness green concealers and primers test and review

Todays post is going to be all about the anti-redness green concealers and primers test. I have been testing these products for over a half year now and I think I'm finally ready to share my test results.
From left to right the products that I'm going to review in this article with the price.

My opinion on this product is that it cannot be compare to the primer of Smashbox. Comparing these products would be a very painful and negative review for Catrice. So instead I'm just going to review this base without comparing it to anything I know.
This base isn't expensive but I hoped to get more out of the product than that I got. As soon as you apply this base it turns your whole face greyish. I have a pretty red face without any make up on and I still ended up with a grey skin. That by itself would be fine to wear under a thick layer of foundation. But the fact that it's also not that easy to blend in and sits on your skin makes it worse. I sometimes have allergic reactions and this product was a risk product for me. If you have sensitive skin I would absolutely tell you to not try this product ever!
However, my sister has used this product once and didn't have any problems with it, except for the whole grey skin tone part. I wanted to throw this base out but she asked me if she could have it so I gave it to her.
Catrice Prime And Fine 010 Green Anti-Red Coverstick:

My opinion about this product is surprisingly positive after trying the Catrice base. This concealer still has that grey tone to it but not as intense as the base. This coverstick is also one of the most bendable concealers out of these three. It doesn't work as I would like it to, which means it turns your skin greyish and doesn't cover all the redness but if I would recommend trying a concealer this would be it.
Don't worry it's still worth reading about the other two concealers.
Essence 10 Say No to Redness Colour Correcting Concealer:
Essence about this product:
"say YES – to a flawless complexion! the “say NO to redness” pencil neutralizes redness. the soft, powdery texture optimally aligns with every skin type and is easy to blend. thanks to the compact size, this pen is the ideal beauty tool, if you´re on the go."
My opinion about this product isn't negative but I wouldn't buy this product again. The thing is that this concealer is too light. It doesn't make any difference unless you apply multiple layers on your skin but then the product becomes unblendable and unwearable. I'm not a fan of a green face. However, because product is only €1.99 I would say give it a try, it's not expensive so you lose barely anything if it doesn't work out.
NYX - HD Photogenic Concealer Wand Green:

"This lightweight cover-up obscures imperfections, discoloration and under eye circles, without ever looking cakey or obvious. Little wonder the Concealer Wand is one of our best-sellers. The concentrated, emollient-rich formula goes on like a dream, and creates medium to heavy coverage. Use the lavender for sallow skin, the green to reduce the appearance of redness and the yellow for under-eye darkness."
My opinion about this product is overall negative. My opinion is simple negative because the product is too thick and unblendable. I kind of feel like the concealer I bought is bad rather than the product itself, because another concealer from this collection works perfectly. However, for that price I wouldn't repurchase it because the risk is too high that it's just not working for me. But if the opportunity would come for me to retry a totally new one I wouldn't say no.
I also decided to not throw this product out because it could come in handy if I ever wanted to dress up because it makes your skin in a second with little product intense green.
Overall I would say that I don't really believe in this whole green colour correcting redness hype. I tried so many products and none of them actual did what they promised. Even though I'm very positive about the Smashbox primer it's not working as promised. However, I'm tempted to try and review the Smashbox Photo Finish More Than Primer Blemish Control even though it's pretty expensive.

My opinion on this product is that it glides on greatly, you can barely feel it on your skin. It does reduce redness but it's a real primer. With a real primer I mean I would never wear it on its own, so I would only wear this with a foundation over it.
I tried taking pictures of the before and after effect but it wasn't visible on camera. It does reduce redness and it makes the skin smooth. It is therefore an excellent primer.
