Unboxing the Pretty box of October 2014
Hello Sweethearts,
today I'm going to unbox the Pretty box of October 2014. For those wondering the Pretty box used to be Glossy box.
The first product is the Rituals Happy hands lotion. This lotion has the most gorgeous scent I have ever smelled in a hand lotion. It smells of mandarin & mint, yum!
This product is full sized & costs €8.50.
The next three items I found in my box are the Colormates brow brush and comb, powder brush & eyeshadows brush.
To be honest I wasn't that excited. I mean I could see the hairs of these brushes fall out without taking the packaging off. I might give them a chance but I don't expect much. (The main reason why I'm so disappointed is because I got cheaper brushes with better quality from Ebay)
These brushes are full size and the brow brush and comb costs €5.99, the powder brush costs €6.99 & the eyeshadows brush costs €5.99.
The fifth item is the So Susan liquid powder shadow palette.
Well this one made me cry, when I opened the palette the mirror fell off. I don't know what more to say than this is an expensive version of a children's make up palette. The colours are not coordinated at all. I don't know what look to create with this palette. I'm very disappointed.
The palette is full sized and costs €11.99.
The sixth item is the Jelly pong pong fairy lashes mascara. Okay this is a product that I got like a year ago in one or more in one of my Glossy boxes. I haven't had a chance to use it yet but I don't mind having a back up.
This product is full sized and costs €18.95.
The last and seventh product is the Ziaja natural olive eye cream.
I'm already familiar with this product from previous VIP boxes and I just don't like it. I tried their eye cream and it just burns on my eye lids. But I may give this a try because I love olive oil.
This product is full sized and costs €4.99.
I CANCELLED my subscription after this box. I don't know what else to say than that I'm very disappointed. I expected more. I subscripted to beauty boxes for the main reason to learn and try the NEWEST products not the oldest. This may be a fun box for a 15 year old who just started using make up but for me it's just all kind of products that doesn't add anything to my collection.
This box may be worth €63.40 but it's the worst €14.99 I have ever spend. So next month my last box will arrive and it probably won't change my mind. Normally I'm excited for the Christmas box but now I'm not.
I think Pretty box should reconsider the products they put in it every month. I don't like talking negative & I have given them several months but so far I can't say anything positive.
