Soap and Glory Trick and treatment VS Essence stay all day 16h longlasting concealer.
Hello Sweethearts,
today I'm going to compare the Essence stay all day 16h longlasting concealer with the Soap and Glory Trick and Treatment. Click here to read my Soap and Glory trick and treatment review.
I have been looking for a Soap and Glory Trick and Treatment dupe for a while now, not only because Soap and Glory is everything but cheap but also because it isn't available everywhere.
&& than I stumbled upon the Essence Stay all day 16h longlasting concealer. I already read great reviews about this concealer so I was curious to try it out.
I went for natural beige since the colour is lighter than my skin tone and doesn't have a red undertone.
When you look at the packaging at first you can see that the Soap and Glory one is bigger, not a lot bigger but bigger.
The application is however exactly the same, they both have a sponge tip applicator.
On the left is the swatch from Soap and Glory and on the right is the swatch from Essence.
As you can see is the Essence one a lot thicker than the one from Soap and Glory, that's because it's a real concealer. The Soap and Glory one is also a bit darker yet it looks lighter and brightens up your eyes because of the small glitters (that reflect light). The one from Essence is matt but since it's really light it gives the same effect as the Soap and Glory one.
The Soap and Glory one is also a good base for an eye primer.
Overall I think the Essence Stay all day 16h longlasting concealer is a good dupe. Especially because it's only €2.49.
