Review: MUA Undressed palette
Hello Sweethearts,
today I'm going to review the Undressed palette by MUA. I have had this palette for a while now. And I know that there are a lot of review on the internet about this palette but I still wanted to share my pictures, swatches && opinions.
MUA on this palette:
" It has a great combination of nude shimmers and mattes and the colour selection is great for creating this season’s clean, natural look with highly pigmented colours. Undressed is bang on trend with the spring summer runway filled with nude makeup looks."
I agree with MUA that this palette has an amazing combination of natural colours and the perfect balance between shimmery and mat eyeshadows.
Left to right: 1,2,3,4,5,6.
Left to right: 7,8,9,10,11,12.
The colours self are also very pigmented as you can tell from the swatches. They're all visible on photo, which doesn't happen that often when I'm swatching a palette.
I would have liked it better if they gave the colours actual names though, it's easier sharing and remembering eye looks.
Also I do not really agree about this palette being the spring and summer palette. To me the colours are a bit to dark I would rather rock these colours in fall or winter. That's probably why it took me so long to review this palette.
I did create an eye make up look with these shadows that I adore and love to share.
Step 1 on the lid I applied eyeshadow number 2.
Step 2 in my crease I blended eyeshadows number 9.
Step 3 in my outer corner I applied eyeshadow number 10.
Step 4 I blended in my inner corner eyeshadows number 1.
On photo the look looks slightly more brown well in real life it looks more pink.
I'm very happy with this palette and the looks I can create with it!
Let me know if you want me to write an article about the guide to pick your first MUA palette. Because I can remember how hard it was to choose my first MUA palette.
