DIY: Lace nails & recycling your old tights.
Hello Sweethearts,
Today I'm going to show you an amazing new nail art. Remember that I wrote in a blog post that my favourite tights ripped. I have worn them for over a year & I wasn't ready to threw them out yet. So I decided to wear them on my nails !

Doesn't my nails look cute. & the coolest part is that you can do this nail art a bizilion times with just one pair of tights !
What I first did was applying a nail colour I liked as a base, on top of a base coat ofcourse. In the picture I'm wearing Who is the boss? by Essie.
Then I cut out little pieces of my tights, a little bigger than my nails but not to big.

I applied a coat of the Essence studio nails art fix it ! nail glue. You can of course use any nail glue you want. But I would recommend the one from Essence since it's around the 2 euros, which is cheap, and extremely good!
After applying the glue apply the pieces of tights. Than cut off the pieces of tights that aren't stuck to your nails and your done !
I really like this idea because it's ruff, different & I can still wear my favourite tights. It also stays on pretty good. I just washed my hair and used my hand and the nails are still looking need. The only down side is that I wear lenses and the fabric is in the way when I want to take them out. So I can't wear them for longer than a day.
What do you think of this idea?

Would you try it out?
