Nails: Dark Angel with Sew Psyched

On my Nails I wear Dark Angel (MAC). The colour depends on how the light hits my nails. And on my ring finger I wear Sew Psyched (Essie). With on top of it A cut Above (Essie). My sister adviced me to put A cut above on top of Sew psyched because she thought that it would look cute. But I'm not sure, since the colour of Sew psyched is a lot lighter than the last time I wore it. Probably because I used a base coat and a lot more layers than the first time.
Just took a look at my nails and she is right it does look cute - Happy face-.
