Healthy & delicious - Recipe with pointed cabbage

A while ago I found a recipe with pointed cabbage from someone called Sascha ten Brink.
It looked delicious on the picture so I was like why not try it. So that was what I did on friday night. And guess what? It was super delicious & healthy. But if you know me you also know that I can't follow a recipe without changing the whole thing. So here is my version of this recipe. [ the orginal was called: sushi roll of pointed cabbage]
What you need [for 2 people]:
  • pointed cabbage [4 leaves]
  • pesto
  • 8 slices of serrano ham
  • 40 grams of grated parmesan cheese
  • pepper
  • olive oil
You just simple started with taking the leaves of the pointed cabbage. Than you take a pan with boiling water and you boil the leaves until al dente.[which takes around 4 minutes]
Take the leaves out of the pan and cut the grain from the cabbage, the leaves are now in half.
Now take a leave and put a slice of ham [or more if you want to] on the leave of pointed cabbage.
Put some pesto on top of the ham, than some pepper and don't forget the grated parmesan cheese.
If you're done with that roll the cabbage. make sure that the ham and so on is in the inside of the roll, haha otherwise it's going to be a big mess. Do this with all your leaves.
Now put them on a skewer and put them in a hot pan with olive oil, just for a second.
And you're done !
That's how simple it is, and it's so delicious.
Also you won't tast much of the pointed cabbage. [for if you don't like pointed cabbage, if you do put on less ham]

If you tried it, than send me a picture
or let me know what you think of it.
hope you like it
& bon appetit !
